报告人: dr. anne elizabeth simon
dr. anne e. simon，世界著名的植物病毒学家，美国university of maryland细胞生物学与分子遗传学系资深教授，现任病毒学权威期刊《journal of virology》副主编，美国病毒学会（asv）植物病毒部召集人，《current protocols in microbiology》特邀编辑以及近20种知名杂志的审稿人。其研究领域主要涵盖植物rna病毒的复制、翻译、重组等的调控机理以及辅助病毒与卫星rna的互作机制；近年来其研究重点在于确认病毒rna 末端结构及其构象转换在病毒基因表达调控中的作用。在science, pnas, embo journal, rna, journal of virology 等知名杂志上发表百余篇研究性论文，并撰写综述性文章30余篇。她还是一名业余作家，1999年著有《the real science behind the x-files: microbes, meteorites and mutants》一书。
